With absolutely an absolutely no snow forecast in Denmark and endless gray days leading up to christmas. The weather can best be described as depressing. So there’s no better excuse to stay indoors and makes yummy treats that you can work off in january.
Here are some marcipan snowballs for all those people in countries without snow as well as those with.
150 g of soft nougat
400 g of marcipan
200 g of white chocolate
about 100 g of dessicated coconut
- Leave the nougat in the fridge for about an hour or so, making it easier to work with. Once it’s been in the fridge, cut the nougat into 30 squares.
- Divide the marcipan into 30 bits, wrap it around the nougat squares and roll into small balls. Put them into the fridge for at least an hour.
- Over a water bath, melt little over half of the white chocolate. Then pour the melted chocolate into the unmelted and stir until it’s all melted. Prep a plate with the dessicated coconut.
- Dip and cover the marcipan balls in chocolate, then cover them in the dessicated coconut and let it cool on a tray. Leave in the fridge until eaten.
