Mitarashi dango

Miterashi dangoI give up on trying to make Mitarashi dango as long as I’m in Japan, it’s simply not worth the hassle, not to mention the disappointment when they turn out hard rather than chewy. Especially because you can buy a pack of three skewers for less than 100 yen at supermarkets.

So here’s photographic proof of possibly the last attempt while in Japan.
